When she watched Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (1951), Narae Lee decided to work in the animation industry to produce wonderful animated films. While studying animation at Academy of Art University, she was captivated by the leading role of storyboarding, so she started to dream of bringing a renaissance to storyboards. Furthermore, this was the right choice for her because she pays close attention to every composition and always seeks high quality cinematics in her storyboards.

Since Narae always wants to be better, she tends to watch the same movies and shows over and over to learn as much about visual structure as possible. Even though she hasn’t been studying animation for very long, this might be the reason her works have become class examples. She could overcome her tough school life because of the enthusiastic response “You got us!” from her classmates as they watched her very first film “THE ROOMMATE” in her first semester. She will never be able to forget the moment full of euphoria and will keep trying to reach her goal to inspire the whole world.

To learn more about animated film production and to produce wonderful films, she wants to join one of the creative animation studios. As a storyboard artist, Narae wants to contribute to creation of Academy Award-winning animated films. She will make explorations into the world of animation, spread her animation aesthetic throughout the world, and develop animation technology with animation-minded people.
